About Tibet Art Studio

Tibet Art Studio is born out of our aspiration to pass on our lost homeland Tibet’s centuries-old cultural heritage to our younger generations and interested learners. Here we teach our students, hobbyist, and aspiring artists, Tibet’s folk songs, performing arts, and a wide variety of traditional musical instruments such as lute, dulcimer, flute, fiddle, and others in-person or online. We also collaborate with various theater, folk, and film artists to promote inter-learning and create mutual performing platforms. Over the years, many artists have used Tibet Art Studio’s facilities, especially the backyard mini-stage, to perform, screen films, do exhibitions, and present live shows. In fact, the Tibetan feature film, ‘My Son Tenzin’, and several short films featuring the studio director are germinated here during their gatherings and brainstorming events in the past. Since one of our studio’s essential highlights is its homeliness and a feeling of intimacy among participants, please feel free to hop in and chat with us- Welcome.
