What an incredible experience it has been to attend the 50th anniversary of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), marking the world premiere of 100 Sunset — the debut feature film by our talented young female filmmaker, Kunsang Kyirong.

The film premiered on September 6th, with a second screening on the 7th — both shows were completely sold out. The audience sat in pin-drop silence, fully immersed in the story. Each screening was followed by a vibrant Q&A session filled with insightful questions and overwhelmingly positive feedback.

A heartfelt thank you as well to Mr. Choesang la, President of the Toronto Ngari Theptsa, who came to the airport with a warm welcome and a khatak on behalf of the entire board. Such a thoughtful gesture — a true reflection of mutual respect and human connection.
